How can there be RD/NDs of 2008 as far as I remember only 15 or 30 days of July were open for filing I-485 after that dates had retrogressed......
If what u're saying is true...the whole process is as random as possible....

These are PDs in 2003 or before Apr 2004 cases. VB in Oct 2008 as well as in Oct NOv 2007 was at Apr 2004 thus these guys got approved even though the RDs were in late 2008. I am not sure what the processing times were in Oct NOv 2008 but these were certainly not in 2008 i.e. the processing time must have been in 2007.

I like srikondoji's idea. Infact I had pitched it to Pappu in a pm couple of weeks ago. Lets create a list of members who wish to sign up for bi-monthly contribution by say Dec 31st and publish that list. The first of the bi-monthly contribution from members of the list is due no later than Jan 31st 2007. I am ok with the $25 bi-monthly figure. Sign me up!

You are right.....even if EB2 PD becomes current and it takes 3 years for TSC dates to move forward to our ND dates....we are not going to have approval before then. So my earlier logic that being current on the basis of PD is meaningless unless you have ND which is current.
You rightly said that there are thousands of applicants with ND prior to you and they will be handled prior to your case............unfortunate but that is true.....and ofcourse preadjudication is a myth as usual...

This notice is in reference to form 1-539, application for Extend/Change of Nonimmigrant Status, requesting a change of status to that of a dependent of a specialty occupation worker under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) of the Immigrantion and Nationality Act.
It is ordered by the Director of the California service center, United States Citizenship and Immigration Sevices that the applicant's request for change of status be denied for the following reasons:
As a dependent, the applicant's classification is subject to the principal alien's status. The collection so far shows 33.33% of the $60K target as of December 11th.
Friends I pledge a $500 donation as soon as the figures reaches 500 less than halfway ... i.e $29,500 and another again once the figure reaches 500 less of $60,000 i.e $59,500. I filed 485 myself and the checks were encashed yesterday. My petition reached NSC on July 2nd and I-140 was approved from NSC.
